My journey as a locksmith began long before I arrived in Canada. I learned the trade from my father, who taught me not only the skills but also the values of honesty and hard work. After traveling the world, I fell in love with Canada, and Vancouver especially—the magic of its nature and city combined is unlike anything else.

When I came to Vancouver, I worked for three different locksmith companies and subcontracted for a few more. That’s when I realized a gap in the industry: many locksmiths prioritized upselling over genuine service, often pushing unnecessary products or services on customers. I knew I could do better. I decided to start my own locksmith company to provide real value and an honest experience—one where customers feel respected, cared for, and appreciated.

At Abell Locksmith Vancouver, we focus on the little things that make a big difference. Did you know that each of our technicians carries an extra umbrella, blanket, or coat to ensure you stay dry and warm while we help you back into your home or car? These small touches set us apart because we genuinely care about our customers’ comfort and well-being.

We also deeply value our employees. Becoming a professional locksmith is a long journey that involves years of learning and making mistakes. It takes at least three years of hands-on experience for a technician to become a service tech, ready to travel outside the shop and help people. We ensure our technicians are well-compensated, receiving better pay and benefits than what most competitors offer. This is only possible because of the trust and support of our customers. Beyond locksmithing, we are deeply committed to our community. Over the years, we’ve partnered with organizations like Lookout Society, Affordable Housing, Salvation Army, and Helping Hands Vancouver. For example, during the pandemic, our entire team volunteered for Helping Hands Vancouver to remove partition walls and dispose of materials—two full days of work, completely free of charge. With Lookout Society, we’ve worked on multiple projects at minimal cost, focusing only on covering expenses.

The values I learned from my father, combined with my personal experiences, have helped me build a great team dedicated to providing the best locksmith experience in Vancouver.
